It was an all-Crow River Valley League championship game in Class B of the Minnesota Baseball Association this Labor Day. After three weeks of action it was the Plato Blue Jays who claimed the title, their fifth state championship, defeating Watertown Red Devils 13-1.
Three CRVL teams made it to the semifinals with the defending state champion Delano Athletics being eliminated by Plato, 3-2 in 12 innings.
