Bradshaw, Butte Cobras celebrate milestone and sweep of Badlands Sabres

History was made at Butte Community Ice Center on Saturday night. Just as the Butte Cobras were wrapping up a weekend sweep of the Badlands Sabres fourth year forward Nick Bradshaw scored his 100th career regular season goal. Bradshaw became just the sixth NA3HL player to hit the century mark.

The 20-year old from Jefferson, South Dakota has played in 169 NA3HL games with an impressive 191 points. Bradshaw recently committed to play at the University of Mary in the fall of 2023.

Butte opened the weekend series with a 7-5 win on Friday night. Luke Schleusner scored twice while adding a pair of helpers to lead the offense. Bradshaw and Patrick Crooks chipped in with a goal and two assists each.

Butte completed the two-game sweep on Saturday winning 4-1. Quinn Nichols, Tamer Billman, Crooks and Bradshaw scored for the Cobras while goaltender Caleb Cross made 19 saves.

Six games remain in the regular season with the Butte Cobras (21-18-1-1) now just one point back of third place Sheridan Hawks (22-17-2-0). The two teams meet in a pair of games next weekend in Butte.
