4-goal effort by Snyder powers Wilmot Wild past Barrie

Wilmot Wild are moving on. Led by Eric Snyder (four goals, one assist) the Wild defeated host Barrie Bombers in Game 4 on Tuesday 12-8 to end the best-of five series. Wilmot advances to face the Orangeville Northmen in the OJCLL West semifinals.

After giving up the first goal of the game Wilmot reeled off four straight and never looked back. Barrie would close the gap to 5-4 late in the second period, but a Dawson Bloch tally in the final minute had the Wild leading 6-4 at second intermission.

Another four-goal run in the third, two by Kyler Morgan, had the Wild leading 11-6.

Ethan Wardan chipped in with a pair of goals and two assists while James MackeyEric Chilton and Ethan Fitton also scored for Wilmot.
