JD McDougal inks with Butte Cobras

The Butte Cobras welcomed another skater to the family for 2021-22 today with the signing of JD McDougal.

At 6’3″ McDougal brings plenty of size to the forward position. A 2021 graduate of Centaurus High School in Lafayette, Colorado McDougal joins his prep teammate Ross Biggerstaff who signed earlier this spring. He scored three goals and six points in 21 games played with the Warriors this past season.

“JD is a big body that brings a lot of energy,” said head coach Kirk Golden. “He creates opportunity in the offensive zone, and is hard to play against in the D-zone.”
