Former OCN Storm standout Apetagon to help behind the Blizzard bench

Former OCN Storm standout Tony Apetagon will be returning to Gordon Lathlin Memorial Centre this winter – not as a player, but a coach. OCN Blizzard recently announced that Apetagon would join the team as a guest coach.

Currently attending the University of Manitoba, Apetagon is taking online classes this fall bringing the one-time Blizzard captain back to the arena he skated on for three seasons with the Storm (2016-17) and Blizzard (2017-19).

During his season in a Storm uniform Apetagon blew past the competition scoring 52 goals and 75 assists (127 points) in 43 games. He would go on to post 116 points in 122 games played in the Manitoba Junior Hockey League.
