Tradesmen select four at NA3HL Draft

The North American ‘3’ Hockey League held their annual draft today with all 30 teams making selections. 134 players were drafted, all from different experience and backgrounds.

Oregon Tradesmen, the newest team in the NA3HL, held the first selection and used it to select Nate Mohr of the Sioux Falls POWER U18. A native of Sioux Falls, the 6’0 forward scored 12 goals and 14 assists in 20 NAPHL games last season.

Oregon used their second round pick (32nd overall) to select 18-year old Alem Kem of the Tri-State Spartans U18 AAA.

Colorado native Trace Norwell was taken in the third round. A product of the Rocky Mountain Roughriders AAA program, Norwell helped his team to the 2020 Tier 1 Colorado state title.

With their final pick Oregon drafted NAHL veteran defenseman Trevor Scherer who played last season with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights and Springfield Jr. Blues.
