Fields, Lolar named ECBL co-players of the week

Week 2 of play in the East Coast Basketball League featured several big individual performances, but two stood alone: Tamyrik Fields and Zeriq Lolar. They are the ECBL co-players of the week.

Fields scored 41 points on 18-of-28 shooting from the field to lead the Augusta Eagles in their season opener over the Upstate Redhawks. The 6’6″ swingman also pulled down 13 rebounds and had two steals.

A 2018 graduate of Augusta University (NCAA Division II) Fields also played his prep ball in Augusta at Aquinas High School.

A four-year player at NCAA Division I Wingate University, Lolar helped power the defending champion PrimeTime Players to victory with an impressive performance. The 6’2″ guard scored 45 points while adding four rebounds, three assists and two steals.

Born in Minneapolis, Lolar graduated from Orangewood Christian School in Maitland, Florida before attending Wingate (2014-18).
