A champion has yet to be crowned in the Quebec Senior Lacrosse League, but a second team has already booked their spot at Presidents Cup 2019. With the tournament host team and regular season champ Kahnawake Mohawks waiting for a finals opponent, Capital Region Axemen faced off with the Windsor Eagles in what was a best-of three to decide who would represent QSLL at the tournament.
Windsor hosted Game 1 on July 27 losing 12-4 and needed a win to force a deciding third game. They would not get it though as the Axemen claimed the home floor victory Sunday 18-7.
