Undefeated after 10 games the WarChiefs traveled to face the Mohawk Medicine Men on July 6 walking away with a 11-10 victory. Seneca jumped out to an early lead taking a 4-1 advantage at intermission. It was 8-3 after two periods before the home team battled back only to come up short.
In their regular season finale Seneca faced the second place Onondaga Redhawks who have battled their rival tough all summer. The WarChiefs scored the only goal of the first period before Onondaga got on the board in the second. The two teams traded blows throughout the rest of the game with Seneca slipping past the Redhawks 11-10.
FNJBLL Playoffs are set to begin next weekend with the WarChiefs ready to face Tyendinaga Thunder. Onondaga will take on the Medicine Men in the other semifinal series. Schedules will be announced in the coming days.
