Topoozian fifth Pacific Association player to advance in 2018

Dominic Topoozian of the Sonoma Stompers is the latest player from the Pacific Association to advance to a higher level this season. He was sent to the Sioux City Explorers who currently sit atop the American Association standings with a record of 41-15.

Topoozian was 6-0 with the Stompers this season with a league-best 2.69 ERA in 56 innings pitched. He had 54 strikeouts while walking just 10 batters. The 24-year old played his college ball at Fresno State University.

Currently at the midway point of their sixth season the six-team Pacific Association features a 60-game regular season beginning in June.

May 31  Jacob Wark, Pittsburg Diamonds to Florence Freedom (Frontier)

June 23  Nick Gotta, Napa Silverados to Quebec Capitals (Can-Am)

June 30  Graylin Derke, Vallejo Admirals to Wichita Wingnuts

July 3  Deivy Mendez, Napa Silverados to Pittsburgh Pirates (assigned to Class A Advanced Bradenton Marauders)
