The Palm Beach Hawks and Eric Ballard, owner of ETP Sports Group, have entered into an agreement to work together for the 2018-19 hockey season. Eric Ballard is no stranger to junior hockey both on the ice in player development, coaching and operating junior hockey teams.
“I am thrilled to have partnered with Coach Babineau and the Palm Beach Hawks,” said Ballard. “I have known Don for many years and he is a quality coach with tremendous insight and passion for our game. We are committed to help Don establish the Palm Beach Hawks as a premier Junior hockey program both on and off the ice and we will hit the ground running.”
Eric Ballard, who is head coach at the University of Colorado, and ETP Sports Group has worked with players, coaches, team owners and multi-use facilities to ensure success in all areas of business and the sport. The relationship goes back many years for Don and Eric.
“I actually recruited Don to play for me many years ago and have had the pleasure of working with him and coaching against him,” added Ballard. “Don even worked with my brother in Minnesota so our roots run deep for sure.”
Babineau is excited to have ETP on board saying, “We look foward to having Eric a part of our staff. As a long time coach and mentor of the game Eric will help in certain areas that will most certainly benefit our players in their development process. I’ve known Eric for over 20 years and am extremely excited to be able to work with ETP Sports Group. This should be an exciting season ”
Stay tuned for additional staff announcements coming soon.
