Clemenson wins RMJHL scoring title

Levi Clemenson closed out the 2017-18 RMJHL regular season on a scoring tear, putting up 20 points in his final nine games with the Colorado Thunderbirds. His 76 points in 37 games played were one more than Jacob May (32 goals, 43 assists) of Pikes Peak Miners to capture the scoring title.

Entering the final game of the season Clevenson was three points back of May in the scoring race. He then helped the T-birds mount a wild comeback that ended with a 7-6 overtime loss to the Steamboat Wranglers.

Trailing 5-1 to begin the second period the 19-year old scored his first goal of the game. A second came early in the third to make it 6-4 before a late shorthanded tally would give him the hat trick and four points in the game. That gave the third-year forward a total of 28 goals and 48 assists.
