Another Hanover Tache Junior Hockey League regular season has been completed and the league announced its annual individual award winners. League playoffs are scheduled to begin this weekend.
Leading all league scorers this season was Eric Lebrun, who was also named league MVP. The 21-year old veteran scored 13 goals while adding 28 assists in 25 games played.

Top Defenseman: Trevor Weimer, Springfield Xtreme
Top Goaltender: Eric Trudeau, St. Adolphe Hawks
Rookie of the Year: Nico Chiasson, Steinbach Huskies
Most Gentlemanly: Miguel Chartier, Steinbach Huskies
Coach of the Year: Jesse Pelletier, Lorette Comets
GM of the Year: Paul Francis, Springfield Xtreme
Playoffs
HTJHL playoffs are scheduled to begin this weekend with a pair of quarterfinal matchups. Third seed St. Adolphe (16-6-2-1) will square off with sixth seeded Steinbach (1-22-2-0) in a best-of five series. Fourth seed Lorette Comets (12-11-1-1) take on Mitchell Mohawks (8-17-0-0) in the other.
Regular season winner Red River Mudbugs (19-5-1-0) come into the playoff red-hot winning their past 13 games. Second seed and defending champion Springfield Xtreme (19-5-1-0) are also playing well winning six of their last eight games.
