Points in the GOJHL standings have been difficult to come by for the past month, but that did not stop the Guelph Hurricanes supporters from helping the fight against cancer. The team campaign for Movember was a huge success with $900 being donated to the cause.
Team captain Scott Ludwig, who handles Guelph Hurricanes media relations, was pleased with the first-time effort saying, “we are thrilled so many people took the time to donate to this cause. Raising funds for Movember for the first time, I really had no idea how many donations to expect. Next year our goal will be higher!”
