Nemesis Relocate/Rebrand As Cobourg Galaxy

Norwood Nemesis are pleased to announce that they will be moving to Cobourg for the upcoming 2017-18 CPJHL season. With the move the team will rebrand as the Cobourg Galaxy Our new home will be the Cobourg Community Centre.

“We are very excited to be moving to Cobourg,” stated Brian Bell, Galaxy GM and head coach. “We feel being off the 401 and its proximity to other markets combined with what the City of Cobourg has to offer will truly enhance our program.”

“We are very appreciative of the Norwood community, sponsors and the ice rink staff and in no means is this any reflection on them,” said Bell. “The opportunity to send some of our kids to Trinity College School, one of Canada’s finest academic institutions also played a role.”

The Cobourg Galaxy look forward to integrating themselves in a hockey community with a strong history and tradition.
