Two-time champion. The Kenosha Ballers won their second-straight Independent Basketball Association title today by defeating expansion team Milwaukee Falcons in Kenosha.

Milwaukee entered the league playoffs as the top seed. They easily defeated the Illinois Hoopville Warriors in the semifinal 115-91 on Saturday.

The host Ballers eliminated their long-time rival St. Louis Trotters 119-99 with Thomas Cobbs scoring 31 points, 10 rebounds, three assists and two steals. League MVP Devron Bostick added 20 points, 13 rebounds and three assists. Travis Reed led the Trotters with 25 points while grabbing 12 rebounds in a losing effort.

That set up a championship game between the top two teams of the fall season. Kenosha took command in the opening quarter by outscoring the Falcons 34-15. The teams played even throughout the rest of the game with the Ballers winning 117-98.

Cobbs again led the way for Kenosha with 31 points, 18 rebounds, 4 assists and three steals. Bostick would pour in 30 points of his own while pulling down seven rebounds.

Points by quarter:
