The CPJHL season may just be a few weeks in, but two teams have stood out so far – Essa Stallions and Muskoka Wild. Tonight the two teams will meet for the first time at the Recreation Centre-Angus.
The Stallions (5-0-0-0) duo of Parker Stewart and Stephen Eccles are presently 1-2 in league scoring, but they are not the only reason for the early success. 11 other players have scored a goal for Essa while Ethan James has provided solid goaltending.

Ethan James
Angus MacGibbon has provided Muskoka Wild (3-0-0-0) plenty of offense so far scoring three goals and 11 points in three games. Devin Gates, who just netted a hat trick on Friday, and Taylor Lee each have five points as well.
A clear number one in net for Muskoka has yet to be decided. Three goaltenders have played one game each, but it may be Ryan Fisher who gets the call tonight. Motoki Watanabee stopped 16 of 17 shots last night in his season debut.
It might be just Week three of the season, but tonight could set the stage for a season long battle in the CPJHL West Division.
Big early season clash between undefeated @MuskokaWild and Essa Stallions tonight at the Recreation Centre-Angus! Puck drops at 7:30 PM!
