First Nations Junior B Lacrosse League
After seven games in four days Iroquois West won the gold medal at the 2016 World Junior Lacrosse Championship at the Iroquois Lacrosse Arena. West defeated the Jr. CLax All-Stars 9-8 in the Gold Medal game.
West were one of four Iroquois teams participating in the 11-team tournament. All four teams won on the final day with three teams earning medals.

August 26 result:
U17 CHAMPIONSHIP- Iroquois 11, Canada 10
Hamilton Bengals (0-2) played both Iroquois U17 and Canada U17.
