There is a new team sitting atop the NJCAA Hockey poll heading into the holiday break – Erie Community College (10-3-0). The defending national champion closed out their 2015 portion of the schedule winning three of their past four games to take the top spot.
Previous number one, Dakota College-Bottineau (9-4-0) has had a brilliant start to their season, but the final weekend proved tough as the Lumberjacks dropped three-straight.
