NJCAA Hockey Poll 2

There is a new team atop the rankings this week. Dakota College-Bottineau remain the lone unbeaten team and with a big victory over their District 13 rival last week are the new top-ranked NJCAA ice hockey team.

The Lumberjacks, ranked second in the first poll of the season, faced the previously top-ranked team and state rival Williston State College on November 11. After scoring the first two goals of the game, Williston battled back to score three straight and led 3-2 at second intermission. Bottineau would score four unanswered in the third, including a natural hat trick by freshman Noah Grant, to win 6-3. A local product, Grant is a 2015 graduate of Bottineau High School where he finished fourth overall among scorers in North Dakota with 28 goals and 23 assists in 23 games.
