Orlando City SC are competing in their final USL PRO season, trying to win a third league playoff title. The Lions (19-5-4), who won a third Commissioner’s Cup, open play this weekend as the top-seed hosting Harrisburg City Islanders. The winner will advance to face the Richmond Kickers-Charleston Battery winner in a semifinal.
2013 Commissioner’s Cup winner Richmond (13-12-3) lost just three times during the regular season, but are the four-seed finishing with 51 points. The Kickers outscored opponents 53-28, second only to Orlando City (56-24)
Expansion-side Sacramento Republic FC are seeded second and will play at home against seven-seed Wilmington Hammerheads.
