The National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) made official on Friday the “secret” most knew: there will be a Northwest Conference in 2014. SO Samba FC is the latest expansion club announcement to join the growing league. The team will play there home games at Renton Stadium.
A second announcement is expected by the NPSL very soon announcing the addition of Spartans Futbol Club. The Portland-based club currently call Buckman Field Park home.
A second Portland club is also rumored to be added for 2014.
Expect the Northwest Conference announcements from the NPSL in the coming weeks. Five clubs are rumored to form the division in 2014:
