St. Scholastica Wins UMAC Title

An undefeated conference season helped College of St. Scholastica (15-2-3 overall) cruise to the 2013 Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) men’s soccer title.

UMAC leading goal scorer was Andrew Jenkins (31 goals), a junior from Cardiff, Wales. Jenkins is one of seven UK players on the St. Scholastica roster, including the league second leading scorer Tom Corcoran (26 goals) of Warrington, England.

The Saints now turn their attention to the UMAC Championship Playoffs. Their semifinal opponent will be Bethany Lutheran (11-8; 9-5) who they defeated 6-0 in early October.
