The 2013 North American Soccer League Fall Season is winding down with just two fixtures left. On Saturday Minnesota United FC will host Fort Lauderdale Strikers in their home finale. Kickoff is scheduled for 6 PM at NSC Stadium. The match will be broadcast live on KSTC-45TV.
Minnesota (4-2-6; 12 points) has struggled all year long scoring goals, two in the past four matches, and it has cost them a shot at playing for a championship. The club have been shut out eight times overall this season despite having the league fourth leading scorer in Pablo Campos (9 goals) and Simone Bracalello (7 goals) who is tied for sixth in league scoring.
Fort Lauderdale have also been eliminated from the Fall Season title chase, but a 5-2-5 record has been a dramatic turnaround from their Spring campaign. The Strikers finished the Spring Season at the bottom of the NASL table at 2-2-8.
