WHAT: 100th U.S. Open Cup Final

WHO: Real Salt Lake vs D. C. United
68 teams opened the tournament earlier this year, including clubs from around the U.S. Soccer pyramid (MLS, NASL, USL PRO, USL PDL, NPSL, USASA). In the end, two sides from Major League Soccer are competing for the 100th tournament championship.
Real Salt Lake will be looking to close out their 2013 U.S. Open Cup run at Rio Tinto Stadium, where they have played the entire tournament. It is the first final in history of Real Salt Lake.
D.C. United are making their sixth Cup Final appearance, winning in 2006 and 1998. Despite currently looking up from the bottom of the MLS table at 3-6-21, United have an opportunity to win a very important trophy and have something positive in their season.
