In what might be the biggest matchup of the season in Minnesota junior college men’s soccer, Dakota County Technical College is set to face Anoka-Ramsey Community College on Wednesday, September 18 at 5 PM. The match will be played at the Coon Rapids Soccer Complex.
- DCTC Blue Knights
Dakota County Technical College are the only NJCAA Division I program in Minnesota. Undefeated at 6-0, the Blue Knights are presently ranked #9 in the nation. Led by coach Cam Stoltz, DCTC have defeated Western Wyoming CC, Bismarck State College, Iowa Central CC, Scott CC, College of Lake County and Riverland CC this season.
Sporting a 6-1 record, Anoka-Ramsey CC are ranked #9 in the NJCAA Division III national poll. One of only three Division III (non-scholarship) junior college programs in Minnesota, the Golden Rams have also had a solid beginning to their season. ARCC have victories over Iowa Lakes CC, Scott CC, Minnesota International University Club, Iowa Central CC, Riverland CC and Bismarck State College. Their lone blemish was a 1-0 defeat to Division I Marshalltown (IA) at the DCTC Kickoff Classic. Anoka-Ramsey are coached by Brady Eichhorn-Hicks.
