The 2013 USL PRO playoffs are set to begin this weekend with four quarterfinal match ups scheduled on Saturday. Eight of the leagues 13 clubs are seeded based on the order of finish of the 26-match regular season.
Commissioners’ Cup champion Richmond Kickers (15-10-1; 55 points) will host eighth-seeded Dayton Dutch Lions (10-7-9; 37 points). Richmond missed out on a unbeaten season losing just one match. Their lone loss was at Charleston (5-2) on August 3.
Two-time Commissioners’ Cup champ Orlando City SC (16-6-4; 54 points) missed out on a third-consecutive title by just one point this season. Orlando will host seventh-seed Pittsburgh Riverhounds (10-8-8; 38 points).
Third-seed Charleston Battery (13-6-7; 45 points) will host LA Blues (11-7-8; 40 points) while fourth-seed Harrisburg City Islanders (14-2-10; 44 points) host Charlotte Eagles (10-11-5; 41 points).
