TwinStars FC pregame warmup.
In a rainy late afternoon, the Minnesota TwinStars FC and Quad City Eagles played 90+ minutes and could not decide a winner. Instead both clubs earned a point in the NPSL standings with a 2-2 result. It was the season opener for Minnesota, while Quad City (0-1-1) earned their first point of the season after a 1-0 home loss against Madison last weekend.
Minnesota opened scoring early in the match, as Hamad Jaman (5’) finished a perfect setup from Keido Pour. Quad City tied the match in the 24’ when Craig Butcher scored on an assist from Graham Nugent.
