Twinstars Midfielder Named Region Player of the Year

The National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) recently announced the 2009 Midwest Region All-Star squad and the Region MVP.  Minnesota Twinstars FC midfielder Igor Stosic was at the top of the list, named Midwest Region MVP.

Stosic, a 3-time NPSL All-Star, was named Midwest MVP for the first time.  A 2000 graduate of Mount Senario (WI) College, Stosic finished 6th in the NAIA in scoring his final season with 25 goals and 20 assists.  He currently is an assistant coach with the Robbinsdale Armstrong HS Girls Soccer Club.
