2026 will mark the seventh season of Senior Series Lacrosse in Ontario. All 11 teams return from last season when the Georgetown Gators won the Nobile Cup title in just their second season.
New this season is Reg Holinshead as SSL Commissioner. He takes over from league founder Shelly Nobile who helped launch the Senior C circuit in 2019.
“After well over 20 years of volunteering with the OLA I’m taking a step back,” commented Nobile. “Not an easy decision. I’m extremely grateful for all the friends I’ve made in the lacrosse world and I hope you all know how much I appreciate your support over the years.”
“With the sadness of leaving my position of Senior Series Lacrosse Commissioner, I couldn’t be happier leaving this league in the hands of Reg Holinshead! I have no doubt Reg will take this league to higher levels.”
