Providence, Canadian Mennonite capture NIAC titles

Providence University College men’s basketball team made history on Sunday in Plymouth by claiming their first-ever NIAC title. The fourth seeded Pilots defeated second seeded Canadian Mennonite University in the championship game.

Canadian Mennonite University won their second NIAC championship on Sunday when the top seeded Blazers defeated their rival Providence University College in the final.

Before the final CMU needed overtime to eliminate Free Lutheran Bible College 71-63 in the semifinals.
