How do you top your first-ever championship season? Repeat! The Onondaga Redhawks did just that last weekend by clinching their second straight FNJBLL title by eliminating the Seneca WarChiefs in four games. The Redhawks now set their sights on the Founders Cup to be played in British Columbia August 14-19.

In their best season to-date, Onondaga went 10-2-0 in the regular season to earn a berth into the FNJBLL Finals. They would face the six-time league champion WarChiefs in a best-of five series.
The Redhawks opened the series with an 11-4 victory on their home floor. The following day Seneca evened things winning 11-5.
Game 3 took place on July 29 at Onondaga Nation Arena where the host Redhawks again came out on top 9-5.
The series shifted to Seneca the next night where the home side came out on top on the scoreboard 12-5. Unfortunately for the WarChiefs the result was overturned due to the team playing an ineligible player.
