TNSLL changes for 2023

The 2023 season has just begun in the Three Nations Senior Lacrosse League, a Senior B circuit based in the regions of upstate New York and Akwesasne. Three new teams are on the floor ready to battle for a spot in the Presidents Cup hosted by Oakville in August.

Returning to action after a 10-year hiatus is the Cornwall Island Redmen. One of the founding members of the league in 2009, Cornwall Island were champions in 2010 as well as finishing runner up in 2009 and again in 2012. The club is now led by David Terrance and coached by Trevin Thompson.

Akwesasne Bucks are new to the TNSLL, but the club has been a force since its inception in 2019. Managed by Chuckie Brown the Bucks are two-time Can-Am Lacrosse champions and finished runner up in the previous Presidents Cup championships (2019 and 2022).

Also now an official member of the league, the Capital Region Axemen have made the switch from the Quebec Senior Lacrosse League where they captured four (2015, 2018, 2019, 2022) league titles. The Axemen are no strangers to anyone involved though as the QSLL and TNSLL have played a cross-over schedule for several years.
