DCTC To Host Region 13 Tournament

Dakota County Technical College is having one of their most successful seasons in the history of the program. Currently sporting a 21-6 overall record, the Blue Knights are set to host the NJCAA Division II Region 13 playoffs beginning February 25. The team has two regular season games remaining.

DCTC will open the 4-team region playoffs with a game against Gogebic Community College (16-12). The game will be played at the St. Paul Salvation Army Gymnasium on Wednesday, February 25. Game time is scheduled for 7 PM.

Defending Region 13 champion Dakota College-Bottineau (16-12) will host in-state rival United Tribes Technical College in the other semifinal. The two winners will meet for the region championship on March 1.

Region 13 champions move on to host the winner of Region 9 in the District VII championship on March 8. The winner earns a bid to the NJCAA Division II National Tournament to be played in Danville, IL.
