- The fifth will face a two-game playoff to the fifth place in the 2014 Caribbean Cup, and get a place in the Gold Cup.
- The champion of the 2014 Copa Centroamericana also get a direct ticket to the recently announced 2016 Copa America Centenario, also played in the United States.
