USL PRO Semifinals Set

USL PRO Playoff semifinals are scheduled for this weekend. The top three seeds from the regular season all advanced from the quarterfinals. Fifth-seed Charlotte Eagles managed the only upset as they stopped fourth-seeded Harrisburg City Islanders 3-1.

Action begins on Friday when Orlando City SC face Charleston Battery at the Florida Citrus Bowl. Orlando City advances with a dominating 5-0 over Pittsburgh in their quarterfinal. Charleston defeated the LA Blues 2-1 to earn their semifinal spot.

Commissioners’ Cup champion Richmond Kickers will play host to Charlotte Eagles on Saturday. Richmond has just one loss in USL PRO this year after an amazing 15-10-1 regular season record.
