The 2013 National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) regular season comes to a close this weekend. The two Twin Cities-area clubs, Eau Claire Aris FC and Minnesota TwinStars FC, will face each other in the season finale on Sunday. The game will be played on the campus of UW-Eau Claire at Bollinger Field. Kickoff is scheduled for 4 PM.
The clubs have played twice already this season, each winning a game. Their last meeting came on June 29 at Prairie Seeds Academy in Brooklyn Park. TwinStars FC (2-0-9; 6 pts) were victorious on this day by a score of 4-2. On June 15 host Eau Claire (1-1-8; 4 pts) got the better of Minnesota, winning 5-3.
Eau Claire will play host to Milwaukee Bavarian SC on Saturday at 6 PM.
