Quarterfinal action came to a close on Friday and eight boys soccer teams have advanced to the state semifinals to be played on Monday, November 2.
In Class AA, the two top teams (Apple Valley and Woodbury) both remained unbeaten and advanced to the semifinals. They appear destined for a showdown in the championship game.
The top three seeds in Class A all advanced as well with a #1 Totino-Grace vs #2 Simley showdown still a possibility for the final.
The remaining games will all be played at the Metrodome.

Nov. 2: Wayzata (11-6-4) vs Woodbury (16-0-3), 6 PM
Nov. 5: Championship game, 5:30 PM
Nov. 2: Mahtomedi (15-3-3) vs Totino-Grace (18-3), noon
Nov. 2: Hermantown (21-1) vs Simley (18-1-4), 2 PM
Nov. 5: Championship game, 12:30 PM
